We cover all of the obedience that typical service dogs need. From sit & stay, through complex training routines, heel, through a crowd, and extended stays they only break when you tell them to (super helpful for work and doctor visits). Learning the difference between when your dog is expected to be clocked in ready to work, and when they have time to just chill and be a dog is the first important step in public access. After that, your dog must learn all the rules of how a service dog needs to behave in public, from not sniffing merchandise or eating things off of the floor, through how to ignore people actively trying to distract them. You"ll have chances to practhow to handle access issues and the curious public with grace.
Your dog is now ready to begin learning all of your tasking needs. First we teach alert styles specific to your preferences: nose boop, pawing, and lick alerts are some of the most common alert types but we also cover more. Once you know how you want your dog to tell you to pay attention, then we move on to beginning to pair the alert with the disability, and finally we proof the alert through a variety of mock scenarios and out in the world experiences.

Our puppies are learning to make their own decisions about the world, their drives are starting to develop more, and sometimes it feels like they have forgotten all of their manners.
